I agree. Lately I have been seeing ALOT of coupes around here, especially black and silver ones, and a few white. (My Laser Red is arriving on or around the 23rd)

If anybody from good old SI, NY is thinking of heading up to the big meet at Palisades on August 14th, I think it would be cool if we met up early and cruised up there. This will be my first G35Driver meet and I'm psyched about it.

Wow, I was surprised to see a response to my post. I sat dead for a while. Good to know some other people on Staten Island read the board.

Unfortunately I am going on vacation the 14th down the shore and can't do the meet.

Oh and I might be one of those black coupes you've been seeing. What end of the island are you on? North/South?

I travel to Bay Ridge from Jersey each weekend a couple of times. And yes, the G population on SI is growing.

NYCXLR8, I'm from Richmondtown/Oakwood, but I do travel all over the island. You guys ever hit up the wednesday night car shows at Chevy's restaurant on Hylan Blvd? I think it would be cool to get a group of us together there one week for a little mini-meet.

I'd be down for having a mini meet there one night. How many G's are there in Staten Island that would be interested?

The age/sex of people shouldn't be an issue. Some people get turned off by other older/younger G owners. Everyone that wants to hang for a bit and talk cars is welcome
