Hey guys, I mentioned this at the last meet, but I'm an organizer for AR15.com. We get together and shoot all sorts of crazy shitt and this saturday is one of our big BBQ shoots. We'll be at Calverton Shooting Range (Exit 71 off LIE, Make a right at end of ramp, go one mile, look on right for the entrance and go to the rifle range once you are in. We'll be on the far left.)

Costs are $10 per person to shoot and whatever ammo you want to shoot out of my guns. Guns will include:
AR15's (M4, CAR, 24" sniper, 20" gov), FAL, M14, 22's, pistols, SKS, Garand, Mauser, AK47, AK74, bolt action sniper rifles, etc.

Ammo can be purchased at the range. Please bring something for food if you'd like to join us for the BBQ. Fruit would be good as well as chips.

Ammo caliber is 223 and 308 for the guns above if you want to buy it tomorrow cheaper. You can shoot as much through them as you like, plus other people will have their own stuff you can shoot. There SHOULD even be a Barret M82a in attendance. (.50 caliber anti material rifle) The owner usually lets new shooters take a free shot with it!

Those are only the tip of the iceberg. Come on saturday and you'll be amazed at what is still legal!

And I have confirmed it....the Barret M82a will be there and you will be allowed to take a shot or two. They might be banned soon (50 caliber weapons) so if you ever dreamed about firing the biggest caliber available, you should come on out!

whoa you'd probably tear it up on goldeneye with all those goodies. bond doesn't stand a chance against although i must say he is one damn good RPG shooter.

haha, good stuff, i wish i could shoot real guns....i'm stuck playing with my spyder compact 2000 paintball gun. but when i play with people i dont like i freeze the paintballs so they dont break on impact but they sure do leave welts the size of softballs - hehe

omfg, u serious? do u need any licensing or anything to fire off another person's firearm? i've been dying to fire off a Dessert Eagle .50 cal, but i guess the Baretta is just as good or better? I've been dreaming of owning a .50 cal Dessert Eagle (aka Hand-Cannon), but i cannot trust myself owning a firearm, hehehe...in anycase, sounds like fun, maybe i'll come thru, how much should we expect to spend on ammunition? I may finally get to live out Counter-Strike, hehehe....

I have not been on a range since I got out of the US Army, I would love to send a few rounds down range

 

Ammo can be found for $10/20 rounds or less. I have 308, so its about $5/20 since I got it cheap. I also have 9mm and some 223.

If you're looking to go, figure on bringing $50 for a good time. Just be prepared to eat some food also! IM me with any questions.

To everyone who didn't show.....TOO BAD! You guys missed a kick *** time, but atleast two G's represented for the coupes and sedans. I'll post a couple of pics here soon.
