is anyone bringing two-way radios? i did a caravan down to VA with my old car club and we all had two-ways so when it was time for a lane change, the person in the back went first and made room for everyone so it was a snake style of traveling...def. looks hot driving down the highway :-P

 

we typically roll into large shows in a group, and we meet at checkpoints along the way to meet up with everyone. For the Uconn show, I95 is a 1 lane road.... with only a few lights, so if we are all on time to the caravan checkpoints, then we should all be rolling in together and parking as a group. Last year we got there early which was perfect (9am-ish)... and got a great spot in the center of the show (winnings best team-quality, of course ). Unfortunately, stragglers will have to park by themselves (which sucks, but thats how it is set up) unless there are random spots open- so thats why its so important to be on time to the caravan.

This year, we should have even a higher turnout with even better quality than last year, so this will definitely be a good time for everyone... I know the roads up there well, and there are some good open streets and turns to snake through after the show if we wanted... there is also a bar near the highway if we wanted to grab a beer after also.
-Make sure everyone who intends on going to the Uconn show signs up in that thread so we can get an accurate headcount.
