I am getting better with my camera everyday. Nighttime shots are a little more difficult. I haven't figured out what I need to do, but I think Afropuff knows if I am not mistaken!

It's real easy. Just shoot day for night. Take the pics at high noon on an overcast day so you get a nice diffused light source. Then you bring the picture into photoshop and tweak the hell out of it!

Diesel... to get GOOD nighttime shots, the camera has to be extremely steady since the lens has to be open longer to compensate for the lighting... Any slight movement will cause streaks in the picture from my experience playing with my film (covered in dust) and digital camera...

I have a digital camera, and the "night" functions are a pain in the ****... I have to either hold it very still, or just set it on something flat to get a good shot without steaks. If we all stay long enough on the 14th, I might try to take some night shots overlooking the GW bridge... We need a nighttime "meet" pix!!

I know about keeping the camera steady, usually they reco a tripods and a remote button, I am just not that into photography where i have that equipment. My deal is the whole aperature (?) settings and that stuff. I don't know what settings to put it on etc. And I am a film person instead of digital.. I know I know....plenty of benefits of digital, but I still favor film!

The worst investment I've ever made was buying one of those APS Canon Elph awhile back... Was fun while I had it back then and it was small enough to carry everywhere... and the panoramic shot capability... But ever since I played with Digital... It's hard to go back just due to convenience... I basically spent time playing with all functions, aperature, shutter speed to get the best pix... Just take a hundred pix... and delete them afterwards. That's the advantage of Digital... don't like it... delete it. I'm currently saving up for a Digital SLR camera ($1k+) with interchangable lens ($$$)... That way, you get the best of both worlds...

Mods for G... or new Digital Camera...?? Hmm...
