HIN.....Charlotte,NC....June 27th, 2009
I am setting this up to go to Charlotte to attend the HIN event on Saturday, June 27th, 2009. We actually will be leaving Friday am to head to Columbia, SC to meet up with Pete M(Petesg35) stay the night at his place and then head out Saturday to attend the show. Pete will book us some rooms for that night and will return back Sunday. If you are interested in going, then please sign up!

Ok so here's what happened,
Im driving on hull street around 10pm just driving home. theres a red light with 3 lanes, the far right lane ends soon and is also the lane I'm in..so the light turns green and speed ahead of the other car in the middle lane..then I notice this silver Impala (new model) speeding ahead that was in the far left lane.
So I catch up to it and we get to the next red light side by side..I was waiting for the green light to see what the Impala was going to do..I thought it was the SS model so I wanted to see how my car would do against it..so the light turned green and i sat there for a min. and as soon as I heard the impala gunnung it I launched my car off the line and passed the Imapala
As soon as I passed it I started to slow down and I noticed the Impala getting behind me..so I switched lanes and the car got behind me again, at this point I'm realizing it's probably a cop and im starting to get pretty nervous..so i get in the far right lane just in case I had to pull over and sure enough the officer inside the car turned on the light show and I immediately pulled over and was just shaking my head and getting my registration and license out..
So the officer comes over with his flashlight and the first thing he says "I know you were not trying to race me." I couldnt think of anything else to say so I said "No, sir." So he said "The reason I have this car is so i can catch people at their finest and I took off at the light because I'm on my way to a domestic violence call and need to get there before things get out of hand so I'm giving you a warning." I shook his hand thanked him for letting me go..Then he asked how old I was and i told him 19 going on 20 and he said that I was lucky that he was cutting me a break..so then he ended with "I know you have a nice car, its pretty fast too but just take it easy" and let me go about my way.
