I appreciate that a lot! I'm really trying to budget the best I can... so we were going to give it a try and tackle the labor ourselves

Sounds like a good resource it's hard to beat free when you're doing it on your own.. but at least he could be a good person to call for advice/screw-ups

well, designing layouts, graphics, flyers and whatnot is one thing but actually having to put those on a car is a total different job in itself. Things like this can't be slapped on in a weekend.....especially on a project like this one where it has to be seamless and parts have to be removed so the edges have to be tucked just right.

Update: I have gotten the reservation set up for us @ 3pm with separate checks. I tried to get a reserved parking space for us all but that is pretty much first come first park on that matter. I will probably get there half an hour early so i can try to grab some spots with some of the guys here, so try to be here as posted. We will have our area til around 7pm til the other reserved time is scheduled for their time slot. I would hope that would be enough time for drinking/eating/socializing within that 4hr time frame, if not....then we can migrate to the bar or elsewhere. See you guys on Saturday!!!

Uh****yah! Stoked for the Capital Ale House meet! And I agree with the vinyl applying. It REALLY tedious. If it's not you car and you don't pay a lot of "attention to detail".. There's a high probability it won't come out as desired. Im also getting a quote on a 60" roll at least 50 feet long in standard black finish... In addition the same
amount of "flat/matte" laminate. The black color is glossy, and the matte laminate gives it the "matte black" look. The guy said the price shouldn't be TOO unreasonable. It's all 3M pRoducts too... Which is nice and assuring. Especially because 3M has a 7 year warranty

see if the guy whomever you're dealing with can send you a sample piece to make sure it's the desired look "matte" that you want......would hate for you to pay that money and its not what you thought it was by some pics or someones description of it.

Right on. Sunday can work for me. No pressure!

And luckily, this graphics shop is local so I can go check it out in person

that would be a plus if it is local.....then it would only take a couple of days for them to get that roll in for you.
