Thats awesome. They obviously know how to do business and keep customers happy. It sounds like I should have gone there

Did they run the tint on your rear glass up to the top where the black bubbles are at the top? If so, did they do a good job of adhering it to those bubbles. If not, did they stop short of it and blackened that portion?

well I probably would have gone to VST because of all the great things I heard from not just you but from tons of other people as well but when it comes to cars i want things done perfectly so i might be taking it a step too far but ill let you guys look at it next time and see what you think about it.

Tony - you were right about import face off. It is next week. I need to change out the alternator on my toyota if i can find some time but if not I will take the 100% stock G unless something comes up I will say that the Invidia exhaust is really tempting me right now...

^^ let me know if you need a extra pair of hands in swapping out the alternator in the supra. As far as you wanting things done perfectly, i can understand your point of view in that aspect cuz i am the exact same way!
Attention to detail is my middle name.

I know that i had said we could do the mini meet this coming Sunday since it poured on us yesterday but after talking with Chris(Suprajjang) yesterday, this would be cool to ride out to check out. Who doesnt love checking out other peoples rides, making your comments and checking out the wannabe supermodels??? Summer will be over before ya know it and you'll be wishing you would've at least gone to one car show this year!!! Check it out, let me know:

They tinted up to the top, over the dots. About half of it has what looks like air in it around the dots. Supposedly the dots have a teflon coating on them, and the tint will sometimes not stick. I called them today - Jay the tint guy is off. I will call them back tomorrow. It's a shame, because the rest looks great! Jaime said they may have to vinyl the top part.

I wish I knew about that ahead of time. The correct way to correct it is to use a special glue on just that portion of the window. Some shops sand the dots to rough them up - some vinyl it - some even spray paint over them. Never had a car with the dot matrix on anything besides the front windshield. Whatever it takes, they said they would get it straight. The rest is perfect. Just those damn dots!!
