I heard from a friend that if your car runs under 14 seconds, that they require you to wear a helmet.
Although it has been suggested I wear one many times at work (), I don't own one.

Just an FYI... My friend got all the way up there in his SVT Mustang and they turned him away... no runs without a helmet. He's going up next time with his snow mobile helmet.
The only helmet I own is my mountain bike helmet LOL

I'd bet a body part on my car being under 14 seconds, so I'll need a helmet before we go.

 

Yes you need a helmet if you run under 14's. But you just tell them the truth when you get there and say that you dont know what it runs, and you do a run. Then IF you do less then 14 you put on a helmet after that

I must have five helmets if you want me to bring them?

And you will need a roll cage if your under 12 lol

 

You need a helmet if you run 13.5 or faster...IHRA rules!

 

Yep in my 240sx back in 01. I ran a 20 and destroyed my clutch, it slipped all the way down the track

Not sure of a date yet. We're still working on a time for us to get out there and beg their forgiveness for the last one

No offense to anyone or any business, but if they're giving you a hard time, I'm sure there's many other businesses that will welcome the meet. I drove by a meet / car show at a dealership in Raynham last night, police detail and all. Maybe an Infiniti dealer would be up for it?

 

They're not giving us a hard time. We had someone else from the CEMA group that was supposed to meet with them and they never got around to it, so Taylor and I are going to do it. We should be out there some time this week, so hopefully we get this all squared away soon.
