I was doing some research about the front license plate laws in NJ and it is required however, I found an online petition to get rid of the need for front LP's in NJ: If you want you can sign the petition at the link below. I think 7000+ have signed already.

This has been around for a long time, unfortunately I don't think it will convince the state to remove the front plate.
