eric where did you go? you missed the worst judging in the history of all car shows...three riced out z's took best nissan/infinity(yes they had lambo doors and neons)..besides that the turnout was crazy...had fun

 

If anyone's interested I used to build and airbrush HPI and Yokomo drift cars. Still have a few laying around. A wrx, a Silvia and a HPI mini pro with a miata body. <-my favorite drift car) (it was that or a civic hatch and that's just wrong) I try to stay involved at the e-town D1 shows when they were still going on; heard rumors that yokomo will be there for the drift events. If anyone wants to build one or wants pointed in a direction I'd be glad to help. But now you can buy drift rc cars already built for about 200-250. I'll try posting some pics or movies of them on my page when I can.

 

we walked the lot and saw everything and decided to take off. kept getting hassled by the girls asking if we paid.

i figured the judging was gonna be horrible. thats why i didnt enter. a show that big, the wild, riced rides always win. even though all our cars look 20x better, they will never give a 1st place spot to a clean, classy car. gotta bet kitted,neons, lambos, vinyl graphics, painted interiors, euro lights. you know the deal. what time did you guys all roll out?

 

530 left rice wars and bunch of us went to red robin and had a ball


and i can understand dub show or hot import nights being judged like that but the people running rice wars run a performance shop so theres no excuse for that judging

**** seemed sketchy at best, the silver z that took third this year took first last year. They need to have a wild catagory so those other cars that were all show could compete against each other. This wasn't hot import nights after hours. Yours 10k paint job and lambo doors and 20 TVs and DUB wheels probly don't see a speck of rain. Mines a daily haha.

Steve would have been in the top three if I was a judge, no homo. I liked that grey procharged one also with the black wheels. The orange one also with the 600+hp.

 

awesome turnout. fail judging. FAIL "IMPORT MODELS" also.

because you got a new bumper grant, here i am browsing online to find a good deal on this ****ing tommy kaira bumper now...

Haha, you need an eleven piece wide body if you want to compete in a show though.

Thanks for the comments on the new stuff guys. It would look ten times better with a giant intercooler behind it though. =/
