It would be great if this actually goes through. Passing inspection right now is not really a hassle but more of an increased expense Plus actual tint laws wouldn't change so tinting your windshield 5% would get you the exact same attention you would get now.

 

That's true, but you wouldn't have to remove tint and then retint everytime you go for inspection.

If this gets passed and you pass inspection with green lights, the cops will still and stop and ticket you.

 

it was a joke...why would i do that ....but yea they need to change tint law also...my wife got pulled over for tints the other day and asked why its such a big deal and the officer could only come up with "well back in the day people used to shoot cops through tinted windows" lmao..ok...if they are that crazy they will shoot you through clear windows also buddy and we are not back in the day and he let her go because he said he thought it was a guy driving...go figure...anyway it shouldnt be legal in most states then illegal in a few...should be all or nothin...and harrisonk has a point..and i think he has his front winshield tinted if im not mistaken? what % is on your front harisonk?

 

Haha why would you remove tints when you go for an inspection? Money talks. I actually like Harrison's tinted windshield. I don't know if I would do it on my car but it looks pretty cool.

The whole tint thing is not even worth talking about. One more way for them to make money basically.

 

i like it too but im sure its not 5% i had 5% on my front doors before and it was dangerous i couldnt see headlights when they were coming right at my door...i wouldnt recommend anything less the 35% on the front windshield if your gonna do it and 20% on front doors...and mega your right

 

putting my tints back on my front windows would be nice.

also if this passes, 07xprinze you have no excuse but to tint your windows buddy

 

Yeah I can't wait to get the tints back on my Eclipse. Looks weird as hell with just the back tinted. We should all go together get it done one of these days.

Well i finally caved and tinted my taillights, YAY for illegal mods!!!

 

i know possibly the best tinter in nj if you guys wanna come down...he bought a 600k house and all he does is tint so......front two windows he does for $60 i believe

Doet china, just drive mostly with windows down and look all around u for cops at all times. That's what I do and I haven't got a ticket knock on wood. If you get busted say people keep braking into your car at night

 

Sounds like a plan. I already have a guy in Brooklyn that did quite a few of my cars. He does flawless work...Price is about the same...75$ for the fronts.
