I have an extended warranty that expires in Feb. I'm honestly waiting until the car can't move, then bring it in. I don't want to band-aid the problem only to have it fail after the expiration of the warranty.

Get it on the Pike and slap it into park a few times. That should speed up the process.

just buy a G37... You know you want to.

As far as any "hookups", we do not have anything in place at this time. It is something that I am considering, but I have to discuss things with my manager and the service department. I'd like to have some kind of outline with a few ideas drawn up before suggesting anything to them.

^Well I can speak for a few of us. Some of us are heavily modified....boosted, suspension, BBK's etc. but how can you not honnor a warranty say for example my boy has a Greddy exhaust . He went in for service because his oil pressure warning kept comming up on the Navi screen. Service people said it was because of his exhaust and wouldn't honnor the claim. Took him down to Herb Chambers and got the problem fixed with no issue. Turns out it was a bad sensor. I think it's a long shot but how about getting your boss to set up some "aftermarket friendly warranty". Maybe one where like an owner can pay 100.00's a month to be covered not matter what mods are on his car

I don't see why you have to talk to your manager about hooking up with me...

See you guys soon, hopefully with a bag of parts that fall out of my transmission. Just got Tom's email. $25 off a tires, it's still significantly less expensive to buy from TireRack and have them mounted and road-force balanced locally.

Instead of hookups, maybe you need to discuss pricing with your manager. How much more business would you guys get if you have SOMEWHAT reasonable prices? I'd pay a little more to go to you guys for repairs, but I can't justify nearly double the price on some things like tie-rod replacements, alignments, etc..

Seriously, how can you justify $99 to change an in-cabin air filter?

Well....considering I am not part of the service department, I can't really justify anything that they do.

All I can do is voice my opinion and make suggestions, I'm sure you understand.
