im thinking of making my g's rook gloss black, i like the idea of not haveing to paint the roof and go the vinyl way it cheaper and it also peels off if i go a different direction. Im from South Jersey and everything i find about it is out in CA, is there any custom places, that sell this and possible installs i have a tint guy that might be able to do it, but want a professional job. any ideas would be very helpful thanks

try contacting custom-exposure.com , give him a call, the guy is really good at what he does. if you're from philly, you're like 15mins away from his shop.Originally Posted by stangswide3

Has anybody done this yet and how does it hold up does it seem great or is this pretty much junk? I don't want it to actually ruin the paint on the roof and the sunroof... Don't want any gaps you know

just my opinion, the blue batmobile overlays were very easy to work with and very forgiving if you made a mistake......have put quite a number of roof overlays on and can honestly say, some good material...

if you decide to do its yourself its not that much of a hassle if you have an idea of what to do. I did mine myself, and it came out great, no rips, bubbles or anything looks factory. But now over time of having it, and when i washed my car it make swirl marks that wont come out, only problem i had with the vinyl
Thanks for the help, the g, is my second car and keep it covered so hioeilly that will help with It over time and I always hand wash it myself, and I detailed cars before if only swirl marks are the problem, makes me happy, def plan on the next month of getting it, thanks for the feedback and the help

no problem, and just to let you know, i only hand wash my car too, and the swirl marks come from the circular motion when i wash the car. But good luck .
