Anyone know of a "do it yourself" car wash in Long Island or near Queens? I've seen some hand wash ones but no "do it yourself" ones... living in an apartment sucks and i don't want to have to bring the G to a hand wash place either...

 

Yeah, in Queens the only one I know of is called called Da Street =)

There are 3 that I know of!
1- Stewart Ave just North of Hempstead Tpke in Bethpage
2 - I believe on Route 109 in West Babylon
3- I believe just east off Deer Park Ave on .....forget the name of the street but it may be Brooke Ave - It's between the 7-11 and the shopping center with the Umbertos Pizza place and I think Sears Hardware Store.

One word of caution - do not use their brush! Bring your own wash mitts etc. I think these places are only good if you don't have access to water or in the winter when your outside water will be shut off. I find it is often more expensive then a regular car wash, but if you can bring a buddy to assist, it shouldn't be too bad!

 

yea, main reason i want to use one is because i live in an apartment and i'm planning to CG my coupe. And at least this way i'll know every inch of the car lol...
