anyone here with a G from Ithaca New York??

I got accepted into graduate school at Cornell and trying to decide whether I should take my G there. I grew up in California (bay area) and went to college in Los Angeles and have absolutely no idea what its like having a modded car in Ithaca New York with the snow and all. Any suggestions or advice? If I ship my car over I would get a beater for sure, just not sure if its worth it or should I trade my car in for an AWD

 

I grew up in that area and i'm here in ithaca at the moment and during the winter time driving you G wouldn't be the best idea because of all the hills and the snow and ice can make it real intresting at times.
