Re: Zanio distributor in Brooklyn

I'm using Meguiars NXT wax and a slew of other Meguiars products... NXT soap, trim cleaner, clay bar, etc.

It gives me a kick *** shine, but it all wears away too quick. The car sits in the driveway cuz there's too much sh*t in the garage.

Will Zaino make a difference?

Re: Zanio distributor in Brooklyn

Zaino and other synthetic polishes such as Klasse, will last longer. They bond to the surface and ahere better. In addition, most carnauba waxes, being all natural, have a natural breakdown. If the temps get past a certain point (don't remember exactly what they are, then about half the carnuaba dissipates. Although the temps are higher then the air temp, metal cars, especially darker colors will reach those temps frequently.
Synthetic polishes last longer. Think of it as disposing a paper plate (carnuaba) VS. a styrofoam plate (synthetic). The paper plate will decompose long before the styrofoam.
I know some poeple have had great success combining the two (Klasse base with Pinnacle souvereign carnuaba over it). Again the carnuaba won't last as long, but provides a little extra depth, though its short lived. With Zaino, they do not reco this process. Their polish is designed for layering, they more coats you add, the better the results. I will admit, I was happy with the results after my first Zaino application, but not extatic. After adding additional coats in the following weeks, the shine just got better and better! The end result is phenomenal! The first application takes the good part of a day, but after that, it is as simple as a wash, spray, and wax. Remember, just like in painting a car, preparation is KEY!!! When you receive your Zaino, follow the tips on their website as well as instructions for use. The bigest error most people make is they use thge ZFX too much. It should only be used when you want to apply more then 1 coat within 24hrs, typically the initial application (ZFX should not be used more than twice a year for daily dirvers and no more than once a year for show cars-according to their website).
Follow their instructions to the T and you will have stellar results that will last a long time!
I didn't notice how good my G really looked until I compared it to other G's, same color, freshly waxed - some with even half the miles, and my black looked deeper and darker!
Great products. I will post a few tips I have picked up from other members and my experiences shortly!

Hey Joel,

I don't have access to a digital camera, but I'll try to get some pics up by tomorrow... that's if I decide not to smoke crack tonight.
