Thiefs trying steal my x5 wheels around 2:45am

im up watching tv and my dog is barking and im like wtf shut the **** up. so look outside to see whats up and i spot a dude wearing all black in the corner of my street i put the driveway lights and i see 3 dudes wearing all black running down the block jumping into a black hatch car reversing out and bounce. i go outside to see wat up and i see my moms X5 bmw leaning sideways and see 4 studs in floor and a car jack. luckly i did it soon enough to them not taking the wheel mind you these are the new x5 20 staggered oem wheels... police came did a report and i ended up with a nice racing low car jack lol. Crazy ****..

Same happened to me last weekend (Atl). Unfortunetly, they got away with 2 of my front 18" factory off the g. The bad part was my car was in the driveway and my dog didn't bark at all (he'll even bark a leaf moving outside)..these guys were pros..left the g on blocks...

wheel locks will only stop someone like me who doesnt know how to do break them off, or want to damage my rim. other than that they are pointelss, they were a good dealer add on say 10 years ago, not today.

and op sorry to hear man. good thing you actually came outside.

True but it makes it that much harder to steal. It will take longer so they might just skip and check the next car. I rather have wheel locks.

Would you leave your front door unlocked? A pro could pick it. But that's not the point right?
