Clear Bra Installer PA?
Re: Clear Bra Installer PA?
I'd like to find one too. Any shop in the tri-state area would be cool, actually. Nearest ones seem to be up in NY!
(I do know a good tint shop, though, if you ever need one, Dave.)

Thanks Kojo. I think I'm going to stay with the stock tint. I'd like to have a clear bra installed but I don't know of any installers in this general area...

Go to:
www.invinca-shield.com
Check out their dealer/installer locator
There are several in the Philadelphia area.
Now, are any of them any good? Which ones? If you find out, let us know.

Hi DGC.
Not sure if this will help you in PA, but you might be able to start researching here. Just picked up my G Coupe last night, and saw a clear bra product that the dealer just started carrying. They had a G35 Sedan and a Mercedes done as demos. These were not full coverage installs, just the hood and mirrors were done. They (the installers) are coming back next week to complete both installations which includes the whole front of the vehicle. They are also going to do a Black G35 sedan on the demo floor. What I saw looked great. The dealer said the pieces are laser cut on the spot, for clean lines. Here's the info that I got from the dealer:
Armorglove Midwest
9449 Bookpark Rd.
Parma, OH 44129
(216) 335-9157
www.armorglovemidwest.com (site not finished yet)
The price they quoted me for my coupe was $495.00. It takes a couple of hours and they'll give me a loaner. I plan to check out the finished vehicles next week, and if they look as good as the demos, I'll probably go for it.

Just a thought...stay away from the clear bra stuff by 3M. It does not work. It will yellow and mark up the surface of your car. It is not worth it.

I've been saying this all along. I don't have first-hand experience with it (I know better than to have it done), but it's gratifying to hear someone give factual testimony to back up what I've suspected all along.
Sorry you had to go through it Mike, but at least your words of wisdom will (hopefully) help others from making a mistake.
