Larry, hows the weather look that way? Unfortunately I took the day off, so even if i gotta get the car a little dirty I'll be out I think. Hope everyone doesn't bail on sage park.

 

well its calling for 40% chance of rain.. we are keeping an eye on it and if it doesnt improve we will probably postpone.

as weatherguessers are saying showers late Fri. and OK for Sat., I figure I'll need a DIY carwash near the show. Any in Storrs?

Sage Park is the spot. People on this thread scared me away from UConn , plus, did u see what happened to some of the cars after the Huskies won on Monday?? lol
I already have too many speeding tickets, plus NO front plate, tints and an insanely loud exhaust.... I don't wanna be an easy target for the Storrs cops looking to give out tickets.

 

just letting you guys kno. so i emailed the president of the uconn car club and he emailed back that "the cops are going to be at the show like every year. they will not be inspecting cars if you dont give them reason to harass you. It will be like driving you car everyday where you could get pulled over for tints or no fron plate. "

 

Yeah its too bad one rumor scared away allll these people. Whoever started the whole "cops are busting people" (believe on 6spdonline.com) should have researched it a little more before making it public.

Im still going to Sage but this will be the first year for me and many others that we arent going to the Uconn show.

Oh well.. well hear about how it goes and consider going next year.

 

i was thinking of checking out the uconn car show in the morning and seeing if it was worth it and if not going to sage. are ppl still meeting up at the basketball hall of fame to drive to uconn because i dont want to be there for no reason.

 

A few Gs and a bunch of Zs. LOTS of civics. Good show!
