Re:Mishimoto radiator leakage
Re:Mishimoto radiator leakage
Hi All,
My black G35 coupe JWT 700BB twin turbo was in the storage for winter months. This afternoon, I took the cover off and attempted to start the car with the battery pack/jumper. It started fine then....here came trouble...the tempeture went high
. I imediately check for clues. I could see some green fluid slowly coming from the top right of the fairly new Mishimoto radiator. Also, the floor was wet as well. I shut the car off and let it cool down. The amount of the fluid in the radiator was very low. I did not know that I had a leak
. I also checked the drain plug. It was tight as it should be. The leak was from the actual radiator itself. It's under warranty from Mishimoto. The bad news is.....3-4 months waiting
. they are out of stock as of we speak.
Anyone here has a factory ones that I can buy for a few bucks? I'm in Central MA. 01603. I'd like to drive this G while waiting for Mishimoto to replace my defective unit.
Thanks
Ned
at least I still have my other G35 Widebody to enjoy

Thanks for your advice.... I'm getting a replacement warranty from Mishimoto for free.
I'm not sure if I want to spend $$ for the Koyo ones.
Take care
