I almost did when I bought the G. In fact I saw that vette (but it was a 95) on a little dealer lot and was there to buy the vette. Only reason I bought the G instead was cuz I wanted the extra interior room cuz I was driving a LOT at the time and I thought the vette was an OBD I car. I'm sure you know all cars were required to go OBD II in 96, but I later found out that the vette went to OBD II in 94. Damnit..

So yeah, my favorite modern Vettes are the 94-96. So sleak. I would have no problem getting one with decent miles now that I know they're OBD II. Any car that's OBD I is worthless as far as I'm concerned.

OBD II was light years more advanced than OBD I. Those early computers and sensors really didn't help much in terms of keeping everything safe. They were basically older type motors with crude new technology. Like a green screen apple computer compared to brand new iPhone. There's really no comparison. It took car companies years to learn how to use all the smog regulations and computer/sensor systems to their advantage. OBD I was pretty much just the test models.

For instance the highest hp IROC that ever came out had 220hp from a 350ci V8. That's insane. You would have to try to get less than 400 out of an LSx.

Those super cool smokey and the bandit Firebirds only had about 225hp from a 6.6L V8. The late 70s thru the early 90s were a really bad time for cars as far as technology was concerned.

Can anymore comment on the following... K&N drop in filter. Z-Tube, throttle body spacer and plenum spacer. Sure a thing about to much air?

No, but the tb spacer is a waste of money. Your engine is an air pump, it can only pump so much air. You're just trying to eliminate the work its doing to get that air.

Sell it on eBay and buy some dice valve stem caps with the money.

You get a cool little whistle but that's about it. As far as I know I don't thinks it's detrimental. Might as well toss it on see how you like it since you got it for free anyways
