DG, no problem. He was cool about it and apologized. no harm done. Just a case of mistaken identity (besides, I may have been egging him on a little...)

Still holding you offer about me dropping by to check out that SC?

My internals are sitting in my closet right now... I need to pick up the ATS clutch and some other engine parts before I finish the TT

I'm helping out Mike (ATI Red 350Z on my350z) on Friday to install his cf hood!

Check out S/C

Sure, anytime. I have had the car out a few times and it is good to go (except for that SNOW we had yesterday!). Let me know if you want to set something up in the next week or two. My car is going back in the shop on May 2 for some minor stuff and shootimg for final dyno tune on May 7.

Are you planning on going to the Cape meet?

I probably won't have my car till first week of May! Still in the shop!

I am hoping to make it, but I will not be sure until the week of the meet.

Scratch/dent removal...

Hey guys, not trying to hijack this thread, but it looks like it has an audience of people in the Boston area that really care about cars, so.....

My girlfriend unfortunately had some one take some thing remotely sharp to her hood (2004 TSX AT). My guess is a key but did it with not a lot of pressure. You can feel the scratches if you run over them with a finger, but again, they're not that deep... On top of that, some typical rock chips (no clear bra, yet) and a minor door ding (some one opening a door and hitting her car).

Recommendations around Boston for a shop that can take care of these minor problems? Hopefully we can fix the imperfections and then get a clear bra on there... Thanks for the help.

Oh, whomever knows dgomes, have him post again so he gets to 5 posts... I want to PM him my VIN down at Quirk... Thanks!

I read your post a while back about the TSX.. PM me and we can talk about some options. If you run your finger through it and you catch some... it's going to be some $$$

Yo, Shook. Sorry I haven't posted that magic #5 post 'til now... been real busy at work the last couple of weeks. You can either PM me now or email me at dgomes@quirkcars.com. Have you found someone to take care of those scratches on your girls car yet? If not, we have a bodyshop at Quirk that can probably fix it. I'd have to show the damage to them to get you an estimate, tho... Hit me up.
