Re: *** CT 350Z/G35 MEET *** - July 12th
I recommend you contact Dan Ziegler from Smithtown Nissan. He confirmed today that he is coming. There will be two 350Z's coming and you could follow them up. There might be a few others that will meet up with them.
Let me know if you need any help.
Thanks.
Victor

Re: *** CT 350Z/G35 MEET *** - July 12th
I plan to come with a friend in my G35 6MT. The info on the link in you first post is vague as to what the "Ferrari Race Day" consists of.
i.e.
Is it a Ferrari Club event? (Can't find any mention of that date on their web site)
Have you been able to negotiate with Lime Rock for a group price rather than $20/person?
When is the Ferrari event over?
Also, will there be forthcoming directions to Hubbard Park for those of us from outside the area? We will be coming through NJ from Philadelphia. I am familiar with CT and probably will be taking the Merritt Pkwy.
Thanks,
Ross

Re: *** CT 350Z/G35 MEET *** - July 12th
Ross, for more information about the Ferrari Racing event, please go to www.limerock.com. I've never been to this event before so I don't know what to expect either. All I know is that people that have told me they've gone have said it was alot of fun.
Regarding a group rate, we have been unable to get a discount because the only way they would give us one is if we prepay which is impossible. Some people have mentioned that if you are a AAA member you get a $5 discount but I'm not 100% sure of this.
Regarding getting to Hubbard Park, you can take the Merritt Parkway to Route 691 West.
Take Exit 4 on Route 691 West and turn left at light.
Hubbard Park will be 1/4 mile on your left.
The other option, if you're interested, is that there is a caravan that will be coming up from Exit 22 on Route 95 North in Connecticut. They will be there starting at 8:00 AM and will be heading north at 8:30 AM. They will be waiting for the NY caravan which will have at least 3 G35 Coupe's and 8 350Z's.
Hope this help answers your questions. Look forward to seeing you.

!!! Major LOCATION Change to July 12th CT MEET!!!
Due to the large number of attendees, we've had to change the location for the morning meet. It will NOT be at Hubbard Park in Meriden.
The new location is:
Park & Ride Lot
Industrial Park Road
Middletown, Connecticut
The parking lot at Hubbard Park in Meriden could only hold about 100 cars and we may top this. This would have created major havoc. This new location will hold up to 250 cars!
This new location is not too far from Meriden so it should not affect the travel time for people coming. Direction is as follows:
From ROUTE 91 NORTH
Take Exit 21 (Route 372 Cromwell/Berlin Exit)
Turn right at light
At next light (Super 8 on left) turn left
The lot will be about 1/4 mile on left just after the McDonald's
From ROUTE 91 SOUTH
Take Exit 21 (Route 372 Cromwell/Berlin Exit)
Go straight past light
The lot will be about 1/4 mile on left just after the McDonald's
I apologize for this last minute change but it was a MUST to ensure a more comfortable atmosphere.
Please spread the word to anyone you may know that is planning to come.
Because we do expect some stragglers to still go to Hubbard Park, we will have someone there to re-direct them to the new location.
Thanks for your understanding.

Re: !!! Major LOCATION Change to July 12th CT MEET!!!
Anyone going to the meet have any Stillen upgrades? Intake, Exhaust, Headers, SUPERCHARGER! I'm thinking about making a Stillen Car, but need to hear the exhaust first.
Does anyone know if you need to modify the hood of a coupe to fit a supercharger?

Re: !!! Major LOCATION Change to July 12th CT MEET!!!
I'm pretty sure there will be some people coming with the Stillen exhaust. There are quite a few coming with the Borla exhaust. As for the Stillen supercharger, yes the hood would have to be changed.
The supercharger right now that is interesting everybody is the ATI Procharger which doesn't require any hood replacement.
Avalon Racing in NH will be installing a few within the next few months. I don't think anyone has gotten the Stillen supercharger installed yet in the northeast (at least that I'm aware).

Re: !!! Major LOCATION Change to July 12th CT MEET!!!
I want to thank the members of this forum that attended the meet.
Did anyone count how many G35's came? The count I have based on my sign-in book is 10.
Hope you had a great time. There are pictures already posted on my350z.com if you want to check them out.
Hopefully, we can do more meets together in the future.
I loved seeing the NY caravan that came in with 18 cars and there both 350Z's and G35's mixed in. To me, seeing that row of cars pull in was the highlight of the event.

Re: !!! Major LOCATION Change to July 12th CT MEET
Vic,
Although I was unable to meet up with you guys before heading to Lime Rock, it was a great sight to see all the Z's and G's parked together. You should be commended for organizing this. Thanks.
Is anyone interested in finding a parking lot for a Z and G autocross event?
Roger
