yea im just screwing around with you guys i <3 u too. when i drive in the city the other g owners are 10000x's cooler then around here

 

Ofcourse everyone has their moments, but when someone with the same car pulls up next to me, drives a bit aggressive and keeps smiling at me and not paying attention to the road.. sounds pretty harsh. But I dont want to end up in a wreck because some kid thought he was fast and the furious.. Even afr0puff got defensive from his actions..




I wouldn't give em the bird though, I'd probably smile back or acknowledge them and let them go ahead

 

I understand, but it doesn't sound like he was "trying to be jerk" more so like "hey nice car."

Everyone also is so defensive and then thinks the "worst" or the bad side of the situation when someone is just trying to be friendly or give a compliment. I know people interpret situations differently but everyone out there should be nice to your felllow G mates.

I always wave or nod or smile (when I can) when I see another G.

Dont forget me! I would have been at the Tobay meet but I was on call at work. Server decided to die the night before Tobay. I am going to try to make this weekend's run though. We should have a NJ n00b meet, seems there are a ton of G's here in NNJ.

 

I think it comes down to ages of the owners. I wouldn't expect an older drive with a stock car to want to "get it on" for a few blocks. I take that back regardless of age; people who are "into" their cars don’t mind giving compliments to other drivers of nice cars, no matter who is the manufacturer.

We, who brought our G's to enjoy the thrills, sounds, and rush of the drive will have a good time using all 280 ponies. Those who brought their G's for other reasons, i.e. an attempt to hang on to a frail fantasy of youth, will do just that.

I think the BIGGER question is, when will the Northeast host a bi or tri-regional G Club Meeting? National Area G Club and Capital Area G's just teamed together to form one HUGE A$$ G club, rite herre in DC. Yall should come down and check us out.

i hear ya man. i've been seeing more g's around as the weeks go by and they seem to not really care. i always give a wave or a thumbs up and its rare that i get a good response. it seems as if they dont really have the passion for the car as we do, so too bad for them.

 

That's probably why they arn't on the forums

Original Poster- I understand where you're coming from. I just ignore everyone on the road unless they are revving at me. Most of the people in my area are snobs anyways. The 350z's however, I will give a thumbs up or not because they seem less stuck up than g35 drivers.

 

cause we drive the same car doesn't mean we are bonded to be some sort of wave buddies. this thread is ridiculous. you need someone in the same car to wave to you, or they are a snob??? maybe they just have real friends.
