i've posted something similar but got no good responses.
I NEED BACKROADS!!! ....yes i can find some, but-they are always crowded and full of cops. i'm just looking for a place to have a little fun without any traffic. i'm not looking to go nuts and do anything stupid, just to have a bit of fun without worrying about other cars or cops at every turn. anybody know of any place in the philadelphia/delaware/bucks county area!!!!

I would say drive down 401 from where it meets RT 30 all they way down to Morgantown. It has a lot of twists and turns and after Rt 100, it's generally pretty clear.

It the kind of nice semi-twisty Sunday drive that we all need every once in a while.

401 is nice and fairly smooth...

282 in Downingtown is nice too, not as smooth, but twistier ~ those from the KOP Meet remember the drive down 282...

However, if you wanna really rip it up, and not have peeps around or cops (knock on wood) you can go towards Lancaster (up the rt 30 bypass) to Rt 10 and surrounding areas.....there are hardly any peeps around here and the roads are nice n smooth...just watch out for Amish Buggys! hahahahaha

Andrew, lemme know and well go for a rip sometime...

Try US 50 thru WV.........and don't forget to stop at a little tourist trap called Cool Springs Park

I'll be there all afternoon on 7 August for a family reunion

I went down to Dorney Park in Allentown the other day and the road was clear as hell and not a single cop on the road, I think it was I476 and then I got onto Rt309. In anycase, I took a shot of me doin almost 110mph just for kicks...

nice...for me its more about the twists and turns. going 110 on a straight highway is not nearly as enjoyable as going 40 around a hard backroad turn.

Well, I used to be from the Philly area and now I moved back home b/c I'm done with school now (home being montgomery county). If you want some nice curvy roads, drive around bryn mawr and blue bell. I go through those all the time, esp in bryn mawr. Don't know the names of the streets specifically though.

I was taking my sister to her friend's house this past Friday which is located in Pheonixville past King of Prussia and I came onto this AMAZING ROAD. You want curves, you got it, you want straight aways, you got it, and best of all, NO COPS!!!! There are no places for them to hide PERIOD!!!! The road is called Blackrock Road, if your familiar with the KOP area, it should be easy to find. BEST ROAD EVER!!!
