Just called the dealer about brake light recall. They are pushing for a 2250 mile service for $150. Anyone have input? Is this just normal dealer rip-off?

Thats total BS. The only thing I can reasonably see getting service at 2200 miles for is maybe an oil change. $150? For what!?

 

Turns out it was a new service writer who thought I had 22,500 miles on it. I said not likely since I just got it in April.

They did the recall stuff and thats all.

I really wanted to (especially since I live 2 min away from Ft. Totten) but can't. Have my buddy's bachelor party to enjoy that day (all-day event). Gonna try to make the next meet- whenever thats planned.
