I run vortech too, I'm in dc, but I do Richmond meets a lot. Also the annual York Town cruise is hot also... Good folks ending at hooters for a good atmosphere.

quick question about running the vortech. does your whine during idle? like high pitch? I'm not sure if that's normal or if I have a problem somewhere

 

im in Richmond alot. Ill be in Richmond on Friday, but most likely earlier in the day or later in the evening.

The bumper is brand new and one of the best ive seen. It looks like its been prepped for paint. Its black and looks very well made. Its also one of the lightest bumpers I have ever picked up.

I can meet in Richmond during the week late at night. Just need a day or so heads up.

FYI I will be unavailble from this friday to next sundy. So if you have a time crunch. Lets get something planned. Bumper is brand new. I guess I can let it go for 300-325

yes it does have a high pitch at idle, however you need to get your idle rpm adjusted to at least 950-1000 so that you have enough oil pressure to cool the blower in traffic of while it idles.

Are you running upRev software?

The vortech was installed by the previous owner. He produced paperwork showing that everything was professionally installed, but I don't recall seeing anything about the tune and he didn't have/give me a tuner.

I'm pretty new to this and I bought it already installed bc I wanted to have it done anyways and it saved me pretty much the entire cost of getting a SC kit. I'll look into purchasing an UpRev Osiris Tuner. when my car idles, it's definitely lower than 1krpm.

Any and all suggestions, opinions and statements of personal experience is greatly appreciated.
