Me and another G owner is coming down Sat to Va Beach from the DC area. Question: how are the VB Police today...I grew up in NN Va and spent many weekends at Va Beach my younger days and I knew how VBPD got down on the strip (Tickets, Tickets, Tickets) Since moving to MD years ago I kept my Va plates and have no problems in MD...But I wonder will the VBPD get loco on me for not have plates in the front, dark windows and a loud a S S exhaust (which I can control that)....Not trying to make this a costly weekend home.....but most of the time I visit NN, I park my G and don't drive it again till I get out of town...

 

having no front plate you should be fine with vbpd. its the va state police who will get you for no front tag and hit you with a tint ticket. as far as the exhust just keep it down and they will leave you alone. since you moved to md years ago and still have va tags, do you have a current va inspection sticker? vbpd is pretty good with spotting exp. ins. stickers

the g35 owners around hit up the strip now and then and never really had a problem with vbpd. just be smart and dont do anything to attract attention

 

I've been seeing alot more VB Police since last weekend. It's near the end of the month so they might be trying to make there qoutas. I FL tags and haven't had any problems.
I know there are a couple of meeting spots around here but have found them as of yet. Hit me up if you here anything.

 

i worked with vbpd as a patrol intren two years ago, they have no qoutas...patrols step up when it gets warmer as people start to do more outdoor activities. like i said be smart. if you do get pulled over, keep your cool as they can tack on more equip tickets. they are doing their job, i know va law suck but its the law...i have a moded car and i am breaking the law, if i get a ticket (knock on wood) ill just pay it...its part of the moded car scene
