My bad, haven't been on the G site for a while, have ALOT going on right now.

Since Vortech and pretty much every other FI OTHER THEN Stillen has to be tuned and doens't come with a plug and play SS box, i would say don't drive on it without a tune! But if you MUST, stay out of boost!!! It's not that hard to do. Get a combination boost/vacume gauge from autometer and just make sure the needle stays on the vacume side of it untill you get tuned, and you should be ok.

Honestly though, if this is your DD, i suggest you make an appointment for a tune, then do the install as close to the date of the appointment as you can. That will minimize the length of time that you won't be able to be boosting.

If it's not your DD. Do the install, and then tow it to the tuner.

 

i going to hold off on FI till next year...school has to come first, im just going to get an exhust and hfc this summer. im sure next year ill be able to find a deal on a system.

 

Be careful when choosing HFCs. Many/most have had the insides break up within a year. Hold on to your old cats so when/if this happens, you can put them back on.

i was out there last week for work and that place is great. stayed at the hilton hawaiian village in waikiki. so many japanese there and japanese food everywhere. loved every second of it. also saw a local G with skyline emblems but it wasn't jdm.
