Does anyone know some good auto body Painters in the area?

( trying to get some prices )

 

Auto Elite off of birdneck rd. in va beach is excellent. VA 04 g35 and I have had paint work done on both our G's.

 

cant for get codemonkey's LR coupe....paint match was spot on

 

well i want to either go for a custom color or repaint the car overagain.. depending on how much

 

Ive had my front done at auto elite too. Pricey but well worth it the fit was right on.


Also had a kit done at stock or modified and yeah would recommend them at all to anyone.

Also had the most recent front done at affordable automotive ....paint wasnt the best but the fit was good.

 

Ya i emailed him too.. he did my friends jdm front on his gsr it didnt look to bad.. elite quoted me 5k for the color i want or 4k for a respray havent got a email back from affordable auto yet... I emailed him awhile ago asking how much for a respray he said 2500 and 3600 for custom color.. I even thought about getting my own paint ( i used to work at a body shop for 3 years back in Nebraska and we used dupont paint, so im sure i can get a deal with my old boss)

Duane (affordable) uses dupont. I was going to get the hook up but i think im getting a new car.

I need to start painting i have a gun n compressor but no knowledge lol. I have a few spare parts laying around that i was going to experiment with.


I talked to Dustin aka strafe and he recommended another hood he said the sl is hit or miss on fitment. I have ings rep fenders you can come see in person just sitting in the garage.

We will meet up at the theater parking lot in military circle mall, gather up and leave exactly 8:15am for Patrick Henry Mall(Bailey's) in Newport News.

Meet up with the G's of the peninsula area at approx. 9:00am.

We will leave Bailey's 9:15am sharp for Exit 89 on I-95N.

Paintings not hard to learn.. its the lil siht thats hard to learn ( sanding,wet sanding,puddy etc..) ya the more i look at it i start to like the other one ( cant think of the name) if the sl didnt have those 2 vents at the back of the hood i would for sure get it.. but Ya i just might have to come look once i get back, because im still on the fence about the fenders
