Not a stupid question. That is you factory shift light. I have an 03 and do not have it. If search the forums you can find out how to set it, but I think you just need to scroll with the mileage reset. You can adjust to any RPM range you would like and I believe it blinks 500-1000 rpm before the setpoint and goes solid when you hit the limit you set. Hope this helps.
