Best Tuning shop in Northeast?
I've always been wanting to get my ECU reflashed. I only know one place that can do that, which is Technosquare in CA. The only thing that has been holding me up is the fact that I have to send my ECU to CA. So, I was wondering if anyone in this board know where is the best place to get the ECU reflashed in the Northeast area. Someone told me about a place called xxtuning (www.xxtuning.com), they use UNICHIP and it's very expensive. the chip costs about $750 and another $250 to get it tuned. Technosquare dose not cost that much.
So, if anyone here knows another place, that would be great.
Thanks alot guys.

You can try Altered Atmosphere in Maryland for an ECU reflash similar to technosquare or wait about another month until the UTECH is out which is supposed to be superior to the UNICHIP and reflash. I would contact MRC racing www.racemrc.com for more info on tuning. They are located in Central Jersey

i live in CT and xxxtunning did my unichip install for 850 out the door. it works well and i have noticed Horse power gains in the higher RPM range. it is expensive but the best thing is the more mods you do the better the chip works. when you add a mod they can then reflash the chip and set it to your exact mods to give you the best results.

Keep an eye out for the UTEC.It will allow you to raise the revlimit and speed limiter as well as store 5 maps and have FREE software updates and maps for life!!All available on their site.It is a bit more expensive than the reflash but if the piece of mind of having your ECU left in your car and not shipped across the country is worth it IMO.Read up on it on our website.Any of the pre-programmed maps would gain you some power but a custome tweak should not take more than an hour on the dyno and can be done by a novice tuner at best..
