I know it was not intentional, but damn man, you drive that fancy super sick car and you can't even jump start it? What kind of ish is that?

In any case, don't worry guys, doesn't seem like you missed too much. When I got there, the staging lanes were packed with nice rides, but it was so damn cold. My car temp gauge read 34 degrees. You could see the tarmac was too cold to run - when you see an STI on steroids running high 15s - that's effed up... Corvettes running high 13s... etc. SRTs high 14s… Basically everyone's launches sucked. There was even one Camero driver who actually had to tap on the brakes in order to get some grip back... - never thought I would see that kind of a thing on a drag strip...

Adam I don't know how you did, sorry I didn’t stick around to watch you, but like I told you over the phone, I drove in there because I wanted to see what the situation was launching wise, before I drive back to the gate and pay for a racing ticket. Good thing I didn't pay for the racing pass when I first drove in. I sat on the tribunes for like 10 minutes before my a$$ temp. guage started to buzz... at which point I decided to split. There was a real sweet selection of cars, but it was just too damn cold to just sit and watch

I'm just upset cause I drove all the way down there for nothing. That's no one's fault but mine, I should have known better that running the strip at these temperatures would be a waste of time.

It's funny how last time when we were there it was like 100 degrees outside and the tarmac litterally melted the tires and now it's just too damn cold!

I guess we shouldn't lose our hope... one day we'll nail the right temperature...

See you guys tomorrow.

Peace...
