Your thoughts on Highway Performance

Yesterday I drove my G approx. 120 miles roundtrip upstate New York. I drove on 87, to 17North to 17A North to 94. 87 is typical highway, the other 3 roads are curvy and swooping but the pavement is smooth. I really got a chance to test the handling of this car. Man no body roll, tires gripped the ground well, very predictable. I have about 3400 miles on the odometer, so i am still learning the feel of this car.

I am still impressed. It seems every speed i cruise at, the car exceeds my expectations. Passing power is great. It accelerates well in 5th gear, but if you want pass with authority, downshift to 4th and watch the G go!

I do alot of high way driving and I am curious what others thought about the highway manners of the G.

For the kind of driving i do... This car is suits me just fine. I am not perfect, nor do i wish the car to be perfect. It is my hope that i learn this car and be able to match my driving skills with its abilities. For me that is key!

So go ahead, fire away guys/gals, lets hear from you...

I must agree with you on the passing power. I have a auto coupe and it a blast to punch it at 40 mpg. Can you spell take off. Do I can't count how many street racers I've done that too. You know the type, just when you crusing through trafic these nut run up on yu. I an issue the challenge . By the time they catch themselves it over Body roll ? what is that the car sticks to the road like glue.

I think it's great on the highway. I drove my G from Boston to Pittsburgh and I have to say that it's a fun ride when you actually "feel" the road. Also, driving the car through some of those places gets you looks that just places this smile on your face that goes ear to ear! Know what I mean? :-)

later and happy holidays.

Some people say Infiniti's are for old people. I'm not going argue. I just step on my gas pedal.
