help with deal.
I am looking at a Auto leather G-35 sedan that the sales manager was using as a demo. I haven't seen it yet but it's supposed to have 3k miles on it and looks brand new. In fact it will be titled as a new car. It has all options except for the NAV system, including Premium pkg, sport suspension, winter pkg, full aero dyn body kit. MSRP is $37,250 and Invoice price is $33,298 (Edmunds.Com). They are asking $33,954. What would be a fair price for this 3k mile demo car? I can tell from talking to the sales guy that they are willing to move from the asking price, but that's obvious. The question is what can I reasonably expect to get them down to?
Thanks

posted answer on other board...... but
sedans are typically had for 500-1000 over invoice, brand new. if your's has 3k, ask for 1500 off.
they'll say it's under warranty, etc.... but it's not brand new.

Re: help with deal.
you can find many people buy their brand new about $500 above invoice price. I personally will not buy a demo car, you will always have a doubt about how it was abused by various car shoppers.

Hey, they can ask whatever they want....I would say accept nothing less than 10% of their asking...so make an offer for $30k. For $34k, you could get a brand spanking new ride with prem pkg, sport susp, and winter pkg. I have no idea what the full aero kit costs. Good luck.
