Seatbelt ticket in NJ - will it effect my insurance?

Yes, I'm a jerk. I usually wear it but once in awhile I do not and (apparently) have bad luck with this type of thing. This is my second SB ticket in about 3 years. I don't think the first one did anything to my insurance, but does anyone know for sure how they'll treat a repeat offender....

Where were you pulled over? Did you get caught in a check point?

Seat belt ticket is a non moving violation. Non moving violation will not effect your insurance nor give you points unless you get like three or four in a year. Good luck, make sure everyone puts their seat belts.

Yep, pulled over in a checkpoint on the edge of Dover/Denville. The guy yelled at me after writing the ticket for not telling him that I knew some cops in another town (he was State). Anyway, my bad and I'll take the responsibility for it.
