Dyno day (RI, CT, MA)

Hey all. I was just wondering if anyone would be interested in dynoing their car. I recently dyno'd my car to get a base # before modding and while I was their they asked about if I would be interested. Just to give you a little info about it, it will take place at New England Dyno and Tuning. They are located in Douglas MA. They use to be in Worcester but recently moved to their new location. What they offer is a day dedicated to the club, group etc.. and depending on the amount of cars, the price changes.

1 to 8 Cars = $70 (Cookout Included) or $65 (No Cookout)

9 to 15 Cars=$65 (Cookout Included) or $60 (No Cookout)

Cookout includes Burgers, Dogs, Potato Salad, Chips and Drinks. You are also allowed to be bring your own stuff to throw on the grill if you wish.

Here is a short note I received from John the owner of NEDT. It's as follows:

Hey Rob,
Thank you for expressing an interest scheduling a Dyno day.

The price is reasonable per car and gets better the more cars you get. I would really like to get 4-5 cars as a minimum because it takes a while to strap the cars down and explain what is going on and working with each driver individually. Less than 4 ties the Dyno up for "a while" and we try to schedule around the event. This doesn't really give your group the attention I like to give. We talk about runs and compare people's runs to optimum and discuss what improvements can do to performance. It really can be quite a learning opportunity and people get quite a bit more than just the dyno runs.

Here is the cost breakdown; 1-8 cars is $70/car with a cookout (burgers and dogs on the grill) and $65 without the cookout.
9-15 cars is $65/car with the cookout and $60/car without. If you have more the 15 cars we can negotiate a price. We did 19 cars one Saturday last summer. This year our location allows us to run later if required.

The cook out includes burgers, dogs, potato salad, chip and drinks. If people want to bring other stuff to cook the grill is on and your group can do what they wish.

We don't have a lot booked right now so this is a great time to plan and schedule. March 18, April 1 and May 20 are taken right now. Let me know what you are thinking about and how we can help you plan your day.

Sincerely,
John

Also I was told If time permits you can take your runs (I had 4 pulls) go out and tune if you wish and then re-pull to see any changes. John is the tuner of the fastest Stang running 10" tires in the country (Under 8 sec's and over 1000 rwhp). John and company are a friendly bunch and make you comfortable. This was my first dyno ever and they made feel at ease, so you first timers need fear not.

Let me know if your interested and I'll get something more definite on the date. Just post you're interested and any dates that are NOT good for you. Thanks

I guess I would be down.
I just supercharged my car and I don't think I would need a dyno...maybe go just to check stuff out.
