i originally spoke to big dealership who wouldn't negotiate price on coupe. in fact, they didn't seem to interested to get my business.
called smaller dealership little farther away.
over phone, negotiated 1000 off msrp, put down credit card deposit, even filled out credit app. this was 6/3.
as it turns out, it was to be an 04.
people questioned whether they would honor price or pass increase to me. as it turns out, they are honoring my price, which now becomes 1250 off msrp (04 6mtC).
and.... they are honoring their commitment to the 3.9% financing rate.
maybe the rates were cheaper then, but now, 3.9 for a coupe is good.
