MOD MADNESS @ Carlisle Has Changed

I guess Carlisle Events is trying to shed their bad boy rep they've been getting from previous import events which went under the name Modified Madness and have renamed the event Performance and Style May 5 - 7 at the Carlisle fair grounds.

It also looks like they are 'upscaling' the event also. This is a good thing for the G's too for we won't be bunched in with the Nissans as was last year which our very own Beebe took top honors in the sedan category going up against Maximas. We now fall into the VIP category which includes the Lexi's, MB's, Audi's etc.

A few of us went for the weekend last year, Pearlcoupe, Paranormal and Beebe. Got to see whips all over the place and then more whips. Nothing on the east coast is the size of this. The Carlisle fairs grounds sits on 82 acres and they will be using every bit of it.

Here's the link to PERFORMANCE AND STYLE @ CARLISLE

Yeah Ryan, I already booked a room for the weekend. Whenever Carlisle has an event no matter what it is , domestic, truck, vette etc. rooms get tight for that weekend. Carlisle draws from all over the place, way out past Ohio and way down from the south and north. I usually stay about 10 miles up the road where it's not too congested but this time I wanted to be intown. The Embers which is where they are having the after party saturday night was all booked out a few weeks ago when I called @ 180 per.... geeese. I stayed there about 4 yrs ago for a different show, nice place. Where I'm at I can walk to it.....lol
