Driver seat malfunction?

Hi all,
Just curious if anyone have any problem with the driver seat (back and forth switch)? If you have any past experience about it, please share with me because I would like to know why it doesn't work anymore!! I have an apt with the dealer not until next week to resolve this problem. So far, I have to press the gas petal with my toe tip since the seat is a bit farth on the back, not really a comfortable position.
Why next week I asked!! They said short of mechanics!!! Hmmmm, should hire more people to keep up with these services or they shouldn't sale any car at all...I couldn't wait to feedback their service on the next customer survey!! Yippee

Have not had this problem, but when this condition is unsafe to drive, I would show up at the dealer in the AM and ask for immediate service. Good luck.

I actually have had this problem. Awhile ago, my back and forth swith would work and then while I was driving for a bit wouldn't work anymore. It was either a hit or miss but all of a sudden it has been working perfectly once again. Now, the other two switches to raise or lower the seat have completely stopped working. Let me know what the dealer does for you because I have been procrastinating to get this fixed. Luckily, the seat is in the perfect postion for me, so it's not too big of a deal for me. But if the back and forth goes out on me again. then I am in trouble.

That was a good news for your case. How long it took for them to change the seat rail and control switches?? As I know, all parts would be cover 4 years or 60k miles. Just I dont like the services at the dealer, too slow or they dont have the most important parts in stock...always on the ordering mode!!! Grrrrrrrrr

ps. Consider to trade in for (IS350, TL). Hmmm, thinking about it.....
