Maintenance / Repair Help

I've been helping a lot of people out with maintenance on their Gs for the past year or so. I've been doing it because I enjoy helping others, meeting new people, and working with the G. I'm pretty much willing to help out with anything and get other members involved to help too.

My garage is fully stocked with every tool needed to do basic/moderate maintenance & repair.

I also have a good supply of Amsoil products for those of you interested (filters, engine oils, gear lubes).

If you're interested in getting some help, feel free to PM me and setup a time for a Saturday (since that's when I usually have time to do this). For those of you who are willing to help out every now & then list your specialty and subscribe to this thread and I will post whenever additional help is needed.

For those of you who care, I follow the factory maintenance/repair guidelines very strictly.

I have a bunch of oil containers from blackstone labs for oil sampling too... they are free but blackstone will charge ~$20 for an oil analysis.

I've got very little experience applying overlays or film. I'm willing to help out however I can though.

Add me on... whatever Saturday I have free and not nursing a hangover, I'm willing to help out.
Anyone adding themselves should list what they have done before and are willing to help out with. Here's mine...

air filter
in-cabin filter
almost anything interior (lights, panels, seats..etc)
5at brake pads
soundproofing (dynamt install)
tint overlays
debadging
and a few more.

edit....And beer/booze supervision!

Uh, yeah. Guess who can take apart the glove compartment under 5 minutes flat?

Andy, I miss the Fox! But the new avatar is cool!

Count me in, I'm always willing to learn more about maintaining our cars!

I'm always down to lend a helping hand. I've met a ton of great local members in this fashion. Eugene and Eric were there to help me with one of my first mods, the coupe midpipe- now look what's happened to my car, I'm working on my 4th exhaust setup, this site is crack!

Anyway, feel free to contact me if you need help with:
  • Brakes
  • Suspension
  • Exhaust

You forgot to add "beer supervision."

By the way, I'm intimidated by the overlays, let me know if you have some time today for me to pop on by...

Eugene has also helped me with my engine, differential, and transmission oils along with my air filter! Not enough can be said for a man that does all this out of the goodness of his own addiction to cars!!!!

Being a new member on this board.. This is very exciting to hear. What is best to bond with other board members than to work on cars together. =)
