I just called my buddy he said bring it down. He said just for the bumper off the car 250.00. The guy I called helped me on my car and hes one of the best. Ill make sure no one else touches it. If you bring it off the car bring your gas hatch so he can match the color.
By blend I ment, hood, fenders, bumper. If they wanted 450.00 for all that its a hell of a deal. I dont think your car will need a blend though. The color is pretty straight forward.

 

Oh and as for paint, nothing but the best, PPG.

 

Can you ask your friend how much it would cost to paint a trunk IP. I just need the top side painted and a little work. Thanks

 

IP is VERY hard to match. Do you have pics of the damage. I can tell you how much if I see a pic.

 

It's not damaged. I got a different trunk and want it painted, the top side is made of fiberglass and the bottom is made of carbon fiber so I only need the top part painted.

 

Im sure you've heard IP is VERY hard to match, its a three stage. This means it has a base coat a pearl coat and a clear coat. So the back is carbon and the top of the lip is glass? If this is the case you might be able to get away with a shade off. I would say about 175.00

 

Yes I know IP is hard to match, my rear bumper is already starting to look a shade off from the rest of the body. So this is the acutal trunk without the carbon fiber. Where can I have it painted at?

 

If it were me I would come down from the top edge and make a bend on the back. So leave the sides of the back CF and the middle and top IP.

Will it be possible to do $250 for my front bumper if I bring it to your friend..
It is brand new with no paint on it, actually he would probably be painting about half of it because the bottow is/ will be left carbon fiber.
