Sorry to hear about your car.Don't know what is worse the F%^&in thieves or the idiots that should know better than to drag your car with no wheels and tires and lift it with a forklift.Hope the insurance company takes care of you.

If they total it then your not allowed to take anything off the car, I tried it once but they stopped me taking off certain things.

6MT Coupe
+1000. Bunch of MORONS.
I'd think they would be liable now for all that damage and causing your G to be totaled.
Stress that to your Ins. Co.

Think as long as you have aftermarket mods on your ride and value of those mods not included in the ins. coverage, you can take those mods off b/c they're not included in the pay-off value based on Bluebook for total losses.
Know of a member here who's G was totaled and was allowed to take his HKS exhaust off and his MREV too, I think. Might depend on the Ins. Co. though...idk.

The insurance company will take into account any of your aftermarket mods. If you want to take them off you have to tell them ahead of time but they can't effect what the original condition of the car was supposed to be, i.e. taking everything and leaving a shell. Your insurance company should account for anything that was permanently installed on the car. Although you will never get your full value back. If you have your OEM parts you should be able to trade them out and take the aftermarket stuff with you if you wanted.

The insurance company will sell the car at auction, to a parts dismantler probably, so when you take a bunch of stuff off they don't get a fair value. If you work it right you should be able to take some of the things off the car before they haul it off.

If you have any questions on what they are saying shoot me a PM. I work for a carrier and can probably offer help to get max recovery if needed. BTW: Never take their first offer, everything’s negotiable.

You can buy back but usually they try and get more from you that way plus I did it once and taking parts off a car and selling them to board members was a full time job for almost a month....never doing that again.

The only parts I was allowed to take off where after market parts which were not oem. They did offer me money for parts which I could not remove like the clutch but you have to not take their first offer.
