Norcal Mod friendly dealership.

Service Advisors come and go.
Searched and it seems like oakland infiniti's the best.
Anyone have updates on mod friendly dealerships?
I used to take my car to frontier and switched to serramonte. I doubt that they're mod friendly. So what new mod friendly dealers do we have.

Uhm I know all dealers can and will void warranties if you do mods like a TT setup. I just want to know which dealers don't mind minor mods like an Intake or plenum spacer. Just a little mod friendly and not strictly "Oh, we're not gonna fix that because u got an intake" type

Infiniti of Fairfield.
They sell an aftermarket CAI...AEM I think.

They don't seem to mind mods. Someone here I think goes there with their Vortex SC.

I have some mods (see sig) and Dave there in service always wanting to know what else I've done since last in.

I got a Z tube and Stillen CAI and Frontier Infiniti (San Jose) didn't say anything. The Stillen CAI is covered under Infiniti's warranty annyways from what I read. I don't think they would trip over a plenum either.

^^^lol...thought so, just couldn't remember then
But wait...he's got an APS TT set-up now, no more SC.
Hmm, wonder what FF service dept think of that now. Not CARB approved and all.
Funny how they're 50/50. They cool with me, Mike in parts too.

Weird they won't touch your evap being all stock and such. That's a emmission component too, I think. Aren't emmission components warrantied for like 6 yrs or something?

What about the body shop. It was damaged when you got hit, then it should have been covered/fixed in that original repair.
Worth a shot.
Or try Concord Infiniti.

haha the shop i had it was done by a horrible / and most unprofessional job i ever seen, owner was a *** and tried to rip me off and numerous other customers, shady business and anything else i forgot haha plus they sold it, and good rid

if i however at that time took it back to them, they woulda kept my car for another 2 months or so, they did that with just a simple paint job and some replacement parts

Some Dealerships are cool, some not.
There's the Magnuson-Moss Act that protects us ppl, aftermarket mods and warranty.
Tell them about that if they try to go to that place and they may change their BS they're feeding you.

Here's a FYI link about it.
http://www.enjoythedrive.com/content/?ID=8124

Here's a quote of the Federal Law......
Federal law sets forth requirements for warranties and contains a number of provisions to prevent vehicle manufacturers, dealers and others from unjustly denying warranty coverage. With regard to aftermarket parts, the spirit of the law is that warranty coverage cannot be denied simply because such parts are present on the vehicle, or have been used (see Attachment A). The warranty coverage can be denied only if the aftermarket part caused the malfunction or damage for which warranty coverage is sought. Disputes in this area usually boil down to arguments over facts and technical opinions, rather than arguments over interpretations of the law.
