It was coooold outside but it was nice to meet some guys I haven't met before. Rusty's 07 Sedan was sweet, it's amazing how much nicer the inside of his car is then mine. Karting was fun, it wasn't easy getting my big azz into that kart tho, everyone had me on power-to-weight ratio

Really? Hooters in Rancho?
Their parking lot is the size of a bus stop. I guess this is going to be a really small car show...
I've been there plenty times and, unless they've arranged to control the parking (which I assume they did?), its going to be a mishmash of random cars and random restaurant goers...
I guess I might swing by just to look though.

Here is a layout of the planned parking for the car show.
The area shown is RESERVED for car show entrants. My understanding is that the area designated has been arranged by HOOTERS.
Last year, the club held the show at the HOOTERS-Sacramento (across from Arden Faire Mall). The club was given the entire HOOTERS parking lot. Non-participants were directed (politely, of course) to park elsewhere.
As for the selection of the Rancho Cordova location vs. "others"? I believe it's based upon HOOTERS Corporate decision.
.... I won't post up a participants list .. but not too many G's are on it ...

John / Pat thanks for repping Nor Cal G. I hope you guys do not show up us Z's...I know when you G's get a GTG going it's always a huge turn out.
k…....I put out the bet...lets see if more G's turn out than Z's...I know there is larger (active) G crew in the Sac area than Z's. So let’s see, spread the word.
I know of possibly one other G that maybe attending this, now that he has a new set of treads....hint...hint.

It looks like the parking lot may hold 50-75 cars for the show n shine...spectators will prolly have to park in another lot. Enter the show n shine and be guaranteed a good parking spot...plus its for a good cause...it's only $15. Just a thought, if not please do schwing by and take a look.
