hey all...how the hell is everyone doing..

I have a pondering question..

I want to take a girl out for NYE but duno what a good place around here to go..I was thinkin Monterey/Carmel..but she tells me..it could get cloudy..and so we wouldn't be able to c the fireworks much..

Basically, I want to spend the whole day and maybe a hotel for a couple of nights..

Any suggestions..She was asking about max 4 hrs away..
