G-Force T/A KDW2 is better?

Anyone have these tires on your car, if so, how are they doing because I coudlnt' get my mind straight after reading these Tirerack's review. I would consider the treadwear as the most important but I got mixed review from other people about these tires that they dont handling well as high speed??
thanks guys,
pd

They are very durable. I had them on a FWD car and seems pretty solid. They grip nicely in the wet and dry. They stand their ground on dirt road as well. Only problem they are slightly noisy. Other than that i liked them esp. with their aggressive tread pattern.

thanks guys, your comments would give me some comfort to get them. HOpefully, they would last longer than my previous Michelin Sport and Yokohama ES100. :-)

I just ordered them out of LA, will have them on my car early next week. Hmmm, what is the special thing about this wheel and tire package thing...I couldnt' rotate my tires, 225-45-18 front and 245-45-18 rear. Anyone know if it is possible to change all four tires at the same tire seize? Sorry, not much good about my car mechanical stuff!

IMO, just pay the 800$ every 35,000 miles for new rubber.
$800 for 35,000?? awwww, sweet! I think I pay like $800+ for every 17k miles. How is your speed? I am not a speedy driver but my tires just dont last that long like yours. My stock Michelin sport could make it to 24K, the highest miles I got out from my tires....Yokohama ES100, 15K worstest miles I got so far! tomorrow, I will have my tires change to KDW2.

I had them, we're talking KDW2's right?
Had no problems at high speed (got up to 120mph a couple times on back road straights) and stuck to the road very well on turns in the twisties after they were scratched in.
Agree with them being a little noisy, but livable for the performance given.
Liked them better than my Dunlops SP Sport Maxx I'm rolling on now. (still have a high speed vibration even after balancing, where-as the KDW's never gave me this problem)
KDW2's wear rating is very good...300 I think.

that is the disadvantage of owning and driving a car with staggered wheel and tire setup...

that was one of the many reasons i got the sedan over the coupe....

good luck on the new treads... let us know how they ride.

thanks!! a bit vibration with these new tires, not sure because of the road or the aggressive configuration of the tread. Take it out for a spin to Ventura next week for work meeting!! Yeehaaaaaaaaa

ps. so far, 10 miles on these tires are look like brand new! LOL

I've the KDW NT on for about 10k and so far the wear is very good. not much has worn off in this time frame. I'd guess that I'll get somewhere around 25-30k out of this set. no complaints, good handing in dry and wet. only down side is they are noisy.
