The first post states that the voting for the date ends on Monday.

What I want to know is how many people have to say they'll go to make it official. Last time it was canceled for not having enough people. I don't want to make plans for nothing this time around.

The meet is “officially” go, if there are 12 or more ppl sign up 8 days prior to the date of the meet, if there are less than 12 signed up? I would ask for at least 4 confirmed, 5 days prior to the meet. Those 12 are of course excluding the maybe/tentative or if’s, but I would expecting about ¼ of them are end up not showing up, because their plans do change from day to day.

Well, that’s what my take on the min attendances for a meet is, let me know if its fair. You know what they say? Half the battle is showing up, that definitely holds true for the meets, but certainly I wont ask anyone to plan their life around the meeting date or change their plans but thing is that we all have to make certain compromises to be able to attend the meets, I mean ppl like Eloy who show up for meet with couple of hours of sleep and sometimes none, and others like Mike, Paul, Wes and few others from Sac that attend the meets quite regularly, they have to drive couple of hours just to get to the meeting point, and others might have to decide wheather to spend their day off with their family or attend the meet. Thats why I try to take extra steps to ensure everyone enjoy the meet/drive.

 

Guys? please refrain yourselfs from the signing list, as we have not set a date yet, unless you can make to any which date but I do appreciating the support!
