BASE ACURA TLX NOW WANT A G35 AGAIN THOUGH
Just orderd Brembo Sport Drilled Rotors from.

THE TIRE RACK...!!! Compared to what Peninsula Infiniti, Serramonte Infiniti, Oakland Infiniti, and Frontier, I ordered BREMBO SPORT DRILLED ROTORS and HAWK RACING PADS...Out the door shipped to my door for $993.14...!!!

The dealers wanted $2,000.00 just for the rotors without pads and labor..!!!
These are even crossed drilled rotors too...!!!

I'm having Infiniti of Oakland install my rotors for $405.00 total which is about $99.99 per wheel. I think normal hour rate is $150.00 now right? Should I take it to someone else who can do reputable work for "BREMBOS"?

I have a 2004 6MT w/Brembos current mileage is 57K...For those who have the BREMBOS, when did you replace your rotors and pads and where did you have it installed?

Feedback is appreciated.

I'm bringing in my car next thursday and they're going to check out my A/C unit for A/C Kompressor problem...Anyone get a whininig noise or hissing noise when the a/c is running? It's covered under warranty...thinking about getting extended warranty soon...!!!

Bobby

do it yourself Bobby!!!! You get more satisfaction by doin it that way. $400 to install rotors and pads is rediculous! it only takes an hour and 45 at the most to do front and rear.

Are you an authorized mechanic or a reputable shop? Thanks for the offer man...!!! But brakes is not something to be cheap on...I'm not a mechanic so something like this, i'd rather pay someone a little extra to do the job right...!!! You wouldn't happen to have a shop would you?

Thanks for the offer...!!! =)

I do on my fronts and they do make a big difference. I also had D unit install my rears for me as I was to lazy and did not have the right tools myself. Great guy and yes changing rotors and pads is an easy job...done it plenty of times on my other vehicles.

prob should bleed the fluids and put in fresh ones while you're at it.. and $150/hr is damn expensive.. average price for labor is usually $60-$75.. should be a 2hr job
