I'm picking up my G35 next week and am curious if it's worth while getting a clear bra installed. Is 3M the best product out there? Can you recommend any good local shops that provide installation? Any idea how much this should cost including install? The dealership is charging an additional 1K for this feature. Seems a little steep to me.

It's well worth installing. Contact Jeremy at 707-328-5865, he does really good job, plus he's mobile.

 

clear armour provides a warranty (and is backed by jerry rice lol). do not do it through the dealer, it's a rip off! should spend 600-800 for it

 

I got mine (3M) installed for $800 from the dealer. But I was too late to put them cause there're already some dinks on my front bumper when they installed the 3M on my 2006 G35C.

But still, it's well worth the money if you ask me.

 

Jeremy will do a great install for you and it really saves the front end from chipping since all the newer auto paints are softer. He did my 2003 G35 Coupe, 2005 Acura MDX and just last week he did my 2007 G35S Sedan!

There is only one place, I could recommend when comes to clearbra(not saying others isnt good) that is Premier in Fremont, I have not heard of even one complain regarding their workmanship in four years and they have done many many high-end cars. Sam (wil) the owner "used" to have two G35s but since then he has move onto better and faster things.

Luckily I got them to install mine when they were still doing mobile installations and came out to elk grove do to mine in my garage.... they did such a good job most people don't notice i have ppf on...

 

im not sure which part of "the san francisco bay area" you're from but, i took mine to this place in campbell, CALIFORNIA AUTO TINTING 408.370.9399. i have clear armour on mine, if you want to see what a finished job from them looks like, let me know. i had that done, plus window tinting, for $1k. im happy, and there are always numerous HIGH END cars there.

(my friend had the clear bra put on at the dealer, and it was a lot thicker than mine, and he paid more.)

premier used Venture Shield paint protection film for my "clear bra".

 

Jeremy @ Invisaguard bought my WRX right before I bought the G. As part of the deal, he installed the clear bra on my G. Did the entire front...mirrors as well. Very meticulous job...highly recommend him. He is in the city nowadays.

 

Premier did my Titan & Denali both look great and they came to my house. Gotta love'm. Quality is #1 and they used the Venture clear for both. Both vehicles are white and I have had no lifting or yellowing. The Titan is a 2004 and got it bra 2 days after purchase. The Denali is a 2005 got the bra 6 days after purchase. The Titan sits outside and we have had no issues. The Denali is 50/50 garage and outside.
